Step-by-Step Guide

Below you'll find a step-by-step overview of the invitation and card making process. For a more detailed look at using the text tools, click here.
Step 1: Click on "Start Designing" on the top menu to begin the process.
Step 2: Pick your design motif. Scroll down and view all of the available designs (keeping in mind that you can change all the text and colors on any design). Click on the design you'd like to work with.

Step 3: Choose the card type you'd like to make.

Chose from Invitation, Save the Date, Reception, Response Card, Directions Card, and Fold-Over Thank You Notes.

Click on the name of the card you want to make when you are ready to proceed.

Step 5: Choose your layout.

Each type of card has two layouts. One is borderless, which gives a professional look and a standard size, but requires more paper as there are fewer cards per page. The second option will be a half-sheet or quarter sheet layout which will place more cards per page.

Below each card you'll see the specifications for each layout, and a representation of how the cards will be laid out on an 8.5" x 11" page.

Step 5: Design your card.

Now it's time for the fun part... experiment with colors, fonts and edit your events information.

Step 6: Save your design.

Click on the disk icon on the upper left to save your design when you're happy with your design. You can save multiple versions, and review and delete saved projects later.

You must register to save your card (free).
Step 7: Proceed to Buy Artwork

When you have a finished design you'd like to purchase, click on the "Next Step" icon on the upper right.

You'll be guided through the proecess to purchase credits and receive a high-resolution PDF to print at home or take to a printer.

Step 8: Order Artwork Page

This page will allow you to order your final artwork PDF. The PDF will be emailed to the address you registered with; or you can enter a different one here.

If you haven't purchased any credits yet you'll need to select the link that says "Need more credits? Click here to buy them".

Step 9: Buy Credits

Credits are the currency used on to purchase artwork. Choose the amount you'll need to make all the cards in your set. You can buy just enough for one invitation (12) or other item (8), but it's less expensive to buy more at once.

Once you have your credits they will be kept in your account, allowing you to order different designs without having to go through payment again.
